The Fall Digital Symposium opens on Monday, Oct. 5, with Curtis Carpenter and Kirk Hovde, both of The Hovde Group, who will examine the M&A landscape in the COVID-19 era. Sharing their insights are Greg Kistler, Central Bancshares, Inc, Muscatine, Iowa; Mike Daniels, Nicolet Bancshares, Inc., Green Bay, Wis., and Peter Johnson, Eagle Bancorp., Helena, Mont.

On Tuesday, Oct. 6, the Fall Digital Symposium focuses on profitability, featuring 30 minute presentations by Tom Hershberger or Cross Financial, Tim Koziek of Baker Tilly and Jon Hendry of Alerus Financial.

Wednesday’s 90-minute regulatory panel is designed to explore issues bankers need to be alert to during the pandemic. Weighing in are Christine Gaffney of the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis, James LaPierre, of the FDIC, Brian James of the OCC, and Max Zappia, Deputy Commissioner of Commerce for the state of Minnesota.

The BHCA Fall Digital Symposium wraps up on Thursday, Oct. 8 with two perspectives about the future.
